At Anniston Memorial and Maple Grove, we pride ourselves in being a true family business. One of the owners and staff are always available to help you and answer any questions you may have. We have no corporate office or policy that will prevent us from serving you and making local decisions. Tony and Brenda Reaves and daughter, Beth Reaves, do everything possible to provide the best service and merchandise and the most affordable price possible. Dedicated and hardworking, they have many years of experience in both the cemetery and funeral industries.
In the family spirit, Tony and Brenda's daughter, Beth Reaves, has been involved in the business from the start. She is responsible for accounting, and daily operations of all the businesses. Brenda's Dad, Jesse Pearce, was a part of the funeral home from the start until his death in 2012. The family has employed dedicated and trained personnel to be involved in every aspect of the business and they are considered part of our family.
Reba Jean "Jeannie" Beal has worked at Anniston Memorial Gardens for 44 years and her caring attitude is well known in the Anniston area. Everyone who meets her is a friend for life!
Our Manager, Cassie Parson, is a native of Paulding County, Georgia. She resides in the Jacksonville area and has worked in the funeral business for several years. Cassie is a licensed embalmer, funeral director, and certified cremation specialist with the state of Alabama and a holder of a National Board Certificate from the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards.
Barry C. Taul, one of the newest members of our staff, began his funeral career in 1985 in Birmingham. He now resides in Gardendale, Alabama. Other than a little over a year of service with a Florida funeral home, Barry has served the rest of his career in the metro Birmingham area. Barry is a licensed embalmer and funeral director with the state of Alabama and is also a holder of a National Board Certificate from the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards.
